From Kendo to AI: A Journey of Discipline and Responsibility
Since childhood, I have trained in Kendo, the Japanese art of the sword. More than just a martial art, Kendo teaches discipline, respect, and responsibility—because a sword is a powerful tool that must be wielded wisely.
Today, as the founder of Resonance Theory,
I see artificial intelligence (AI) much like the sword. If used carelessly, it can cause harm.
But if guided by ethics, it can become a tool that helps humanity thrive.
At Resonance Theory, we believe AI should be built with the same principles that govern Kendo: respect, mastery, and awareness of long-term consequences.
Why Should Everyone Care About AI?
Many people think AI is complicated or only for tech experts, but it’s already affecting our daily lives—shaping what we see online, automating jobs, and influencing major decisions in business, healthcare, and even government.
The real question isn’t whether AI will change the world—it’s how.
Will AI be used responsibly, or will it be developed without ethical boundaries?
That’s why Resonance Theory exists: to ensure AI works for humanity, not against it.
How You Can Be Part of the Future
AI is not just for scientists or tech companies—it affects everyone. You don’t need to be an expert to care about ethical AI.
At Resonance Theory, we believe AI should align with human values, not just corporate interests. By raising awareness, asking questions, and demanding responsible AI, we can all shape a future where technology serves people, not the other way around.
The way we build AI today will define the world our children inherit. Let’s make sure it’s done with wisdom and integrity.
